Our objective is to provide quality electric service with stable and affordable rates. Individuals receiving electric service from SVEC are member-owners of the cooperative. Surprise valley electric serves 7,650 square miles covering Summer Lake, Oregon, south to Ravendale, California, west to Day, California, and east to Vya, Nevada. We do not serve the down town areas of Alturas, Lakeview, Cedarville, and New Pine Creek, as these are covered by Pacific Power.
